Dr. Andreasen has been performing breast augmentation and breast enhancement procedures in the Inland Empire – San Bernardino County area for years. Dr. Andreasen’s Inland Empire, California office is centrally located to also serve the communities of the San Gabriel Valley, Rancho Cucamonga, and Ontario, California (CA).
Breast augmentation has evolved into a procedure that is much more than simply placing an implant into a chest and hoping for an adequate result. With the many different options that exist in today’s plastic surgeon’s armamentarium, it is important for a patient to discuss and understand these options so that she can choose what is best for her at this important time in her life.
We understand completely that breast augmentation is not a perfect surgery. Complications can occur and reoperations are not uncommon even in the best of hands. Your surgeon should be honest and up front about these important issues so that you are not surprised as your augmentation changes over time.
I enjoy interacting with and talking with people as much as I enjoy operating on them. During your visit with me we will talk openly about what science and experience have taught us about augmentation, breast lifting, or simultaneous lifting and augmentation. The many different options for implant type, implant position, access incision, and implant size and shape will be discussed to your full understanding. Long-term effects of implants on your skin and tissues will be emphasized, and appropriate sizing recommendations will be made.
Although we may make some recommendations for you, this is truly an elective surgery and you will make these decisions with us after understanding the trade-offs, risks, benefits, and possible complications of each choice.
Although an imperfect surgery, augmentation is certainly an exciting one. After hundreds of successful augmentation procedures, I still get anxious before every surgery--focusing completely on making your surgical and post-operative experience a positive one. I know and accept that I am not the only surgeon in my community. But, I am committed to the pursuit of excellence in plastic surgery.

Maria is a scrub technician who assists in the operating room as well as in clinic. She has worked in the operating room for 26 years and has experience in all types of reconstructive and aesthetic procedures. She also assists in all facets of pre-operative and post-operative care. Maria is fluent in Spanish and can answer all patient-related questions as well.
