Breastimplants411.com Holds Plastic Surgeons to a Higher Standard
Edited by Carly Zander - Staff Writer, Send2Press.com

Breastimplants411.com sets the bar high for plastic surgeons because they want patients to feel confident in the doctor they choose. In order for a plastic surgeon to even be considered, let alone accepted on Breastimplants411.com, they must represent in writing that they are Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery or the equivalent premier Canadian plastic surgery certification boards (when they are a plastic surgeon practicing in the U.S. or Canada), that they are actively licensed in all states within which they practice, and that neither their certification nor licensure is under investigation or suspension.

By Tom J. Pousti M.D., F.A.C.S.

Tubular breasts have a very narrow base and usually a long skin envelope. Sometimes people refer to “tubular breast” shape as the shape similar to “snoopy’s nose”. In the most severe cases of tubular breast, a breast lift can be done through an incision around the areola, making the breast into a more rounded shape that the patient will be happy with. In many cases however, a lift is not necessary.

If the horizontal muscle that is connected to the sternum and goes across the implant is cut during surgery, then the implant can move toward the middle of the chest.
