I would like to start off by saying I was not looking for a good surgeon, I was looking for the best surgeon both in skill and artistry. I am the wife of a military man and the mommy of 3 children under 5 years old. Living a military lifestyle did not afford me the luxury of living in the same town for years and asking friends and family for a referral when I was ready for my "mommy makeover". Being new to the area, I was on my own.

After speaking to Vanessa, I decided to see Dr. Pousti. From the moment I stepped into Dr. Pousti's La Jolla office, with my baby carrier in tow, I was comfortable. Everyone was very nice and genuinely cared about my journey to a “better me”.

During my consultation, I was able to meet with a patient who had had a tummy tuck one week prior. This was a real patient and I was able to speak with her alone. I chose Dr. Pousti and his staff that day. Dr. Pousti’s staff members are all a part of his healthcare team and they all played a pivotal role in my experience.

Dr. Pousti is such a kind and gentle person and his bedside manner far exceeded my expectations. The morning of my surgery Dr. Pousti took the time to speak at length with my husband and me. He answered all our questions and I felt at ease. The nurses and board certified anesthesiologist at Alvarado Outpatient Surgery were in a word “awesome”. I chose to recover at The Hide Away for several days and Dr. Pousti visited me the night after my surgery. I am so glad I stayed, they were wonderful.

I am currently 2 months post-op and am still in love with my surgeon and his staff. I wish I had the words to fully express how happy I am with Dr. Pousti and my results. I guess my 4 year old son said it best when he said "Momma, you are beautiful." Thanks, Dr. Pousti and staff.....YOU ROCK! TB in SD
